The difference between vibration optical fiber and ordinary optical fiber
I. Introduction to vibration optical fiber
Vibration optical fiber (vibration optical cable) is actually a set of perimeter intrusion detection system, rather than a single optical cable.
The vibration optical cable used in the vibration optical fiber perimeter alarm system is a common communication optical cable, only the vibration optical fiber sensors are added at both ends of the common communication optical cable to collect the change data of the perimeter vibration. Generally, hanging net installation and buried installation are used on site. Hanging net installation is to bind the optical cable on the perimeter fence or iron art. Generally, the buried installation has good concealment and is buried under the surface or wall.
II. Working principle of vibration optical fiber
External vibration, pressure and so on will lead to the deformation of vibration sensor or vibration cable, and the change of optical path will lead to the change of optical signal transmitted by vibration cable. The collector detects the change of the light signal, and then processes the data of the detected signal, and extracts the eigenvalue of the intrusion signal. When the eigenvalue meets the alarm conditions, the alarm signal is output.
